brianne vandyke, vice chaIr

she/her/hers

Brianne is a sophomore studying Organizational Studies. She is incredibly excited and honored to be the Vice Chair of College Democrats. She was initially drawn to this organization because of her interest in democratic politics. Her experience in Dems has reflected not only that interest but also many more. Being a member in this organization has allowed her to meet interesting and engaging people (many of whom are her closest friends), engage in social activism and community organizing, and expand my knowledge of democratic issues. She finds plenty of intersections between classroom content and the issues addressed by Dems, which is one of her favorite parts about being a member! She is excited for the upcoming term and the opportunity to serve the organization. Please feel free to contact her with any questions/comments/concerns!

rylei mcallister, treasurer

she/her/hers

Rylei is a junior studying Political Science and History. She is passionate about democratic politics - specifically social justice issues, music, and history. She believes that we can use our voices and experiences to influence politics to create change in addition to grass roots work. She is honored to be the Treasurer for College Democrats. Planning fundraisers allows members to work on their organizational and fundraising skills. The day to day fundraising efforts that she organizes give us the funds needed to run as an organization. Additionally, her role in planning the fall break trip helps members bond and get intensive canvassing experience. Her favorite “demory” was seeing President Obama speak on campus in 2016 and realizing all of the opportunities dems has continued to give her. If you have any questions about fundraising in Dems, on campaigns, or have any general questions, feel free to reach out!
